Care that begins with listening
Footprints Behavioral Interventions provides individualized ABA services for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. We recognize each person's strengths and work together to build communication, confidence, independence, safety, and skills that matter.
Services may be provided at home, at school, in the community, through telehealth, and at select Footprints centers.

Clinicians first, from the very beginning
Our founders began working in ABA in 1997 as paraprofessionals providing direct care. Through hands-on experience, continued education, and years of working closely with children and families, they deepened their understanding of what meaningful, compassionate support should look like.
When they founded Footprints in 2004, they built the company around listening, individualized care, and the responsibility of entering a family's life. That perspective still guides us today.

Every child and family brings different strengths, priorities, routines, and experiences. Together, we shape goals that are meaningful, developmentally appropriate, and useful across daily life.

A philosophy that grows with each person
First Steps, Leaps and Bounds, and Journey are not fixed curricula. They express the Footprints philosophy that guides goals, clinical decisions, and family collaboration across different stages of development. Services always remain individualized.
Approximately 18 months to age 5
First Steps
Warm, play-based support for communication, connection, learning readiness, daily routines, safety, and growing independence.
Approximately ages 6 to 11
Leaps and Bounds
Support for communication, regulation, flexibility, social participation, learning routines, self-care, safety, and independence.
Approximately ages 12 to 21
Journey
Support for self-advocacy, confidence, daily living, community participation, vocational readiness, and preparation for adulthood.

Parents and caregivers bring insight no assessment can fully capture. Through clear education, clinician modeling, guided practice, and supportive feedback, we help families understand relevant ABA principles and use practical strategies with confidence.

Social development
Connection, confidence, and belonging
Social connection looks different for every person. We respect autistic and other neurodivergent ways of communicating, learning, and experiencing the world.
Support may be individual or provided through social groups when available and clinically appropriate. The goal is meaningful relationships, self-advocacy, safety, independence, and belonging.
